After a 5.6 mile hike today my posse and I stopped in to the new Spicy Wings joint in Lenoir City, Tennessee. We had high hopes for this restaurant/sports bar, because it is closer than Bailey's in Knoxville.
We began with chips and dip, but the dip was too cold and sweet! Chips weren't too bad though.
Then we ordered a draft of Bass and Dos Equis, from their selection of 20 - both were very flat, but cold.
We finished the meal of wings and a chicken sandwich with iced tea in a fruit jar!
The hot BBQ wings were very good, done, and tender, but the sandwich was less than exciting.
However, since we judge our spots with the temperature and taste of the draft beer, it's back to Bailey's next trip.

Went over to the folks house today and mom cooked corn on the cob and fried chicken. Best restaurant in Temple. Shit, best place in Bell county. She did somethin' different to the batter this time and the chicken came out light colored. We asked her what she did but didn't know. Still tasted good. Wasn't undercooked. A mystery. Any ideas?
None...I'll ask the chicken cooker of the house.
Must have been steamed - did she put a lid over the frying chicken? That's the only thing we can come up with.
No lid. She has a fry daddy. does it the same way each time. It's a mystery.
nothing beats exercising and then eating a lot of bad food. i love sweating on the treadmill and then getting a burger and fries. :P
